Resourcing Solutions was established in 1997 to offer new and existing clients a professional and proactive recruitment service.

Working in partnership with clients across various sectors we have built an enviable track record in successfully handling a broad range of assignments.

Sectors in which we have worked include automotive, chemicals, residential development, FMCG, manufacturing, services and telecommunications.

Highlights have included filling some 50 plus management and technical positions, on a truly global basis, for a $5 billion satellite service start-up.

By offering a proactive service and commercially attractive terms we have built long term relationships with clients and much of our work has been secured through recommendation.

At the request of a number of clients we have, over time, broadened our service to include additional and related HR services - delivered with the same commitment and professionalism

Managing Partners

Alan McMeeking

A qualified HR professional Alan spent a number of years as a front line HR Manager in the hospitality industry, moving to the recruitment sector in the mid 80's.

In the nineties Alan worked with PA Consulting Group as a Principal Consultant before joining PHA as a Director to open their West region. In 1994 he joined the Orion Group as Managing Director and over 3 years built up a significant HR Consultancy business operating across the UK and beyond.

In 1997 he established Resourcing Solutions. Initially focused on providing search and selection services the business quickly gained a reputation for its innovative approach to recruitment and built up a qualitative client base. More recently additional HR service offerings have been developed to provide clients with an integrated service.

Alan is a graduate with an MBA and is a member of the IOD and IPD. His knowledge of business, breadth of experience and his ability to understand clients' needs and deliver successful results for them are the hallmarks of Resourcing Solution's outstanding commitment to service.

Jim Edwards

Jim's wide business experience and entrepreneurial flair is ideally suited to the challenging and demanding requirements of Resourcing Solutions' clients.

Having been a founding Director of an importing & distribution company (later to become a plc) which became the UK market leader in its field, he understands the challenges, commitment and the importance of building successful teams of people which in turn lead to successful businesses. Very much a hands-on player he has also worked in the 'virtual' world of the internet. As joint MD of a pure-play internet venture he took from scratch a concept and turned it into e-commerce reality. Having experienced (and survived) the roller coaster ride that was the dotcom boom as an online e-tailer he has gained a valuable insight into the 'new economy'.

His knowledge and experience of both traditional and e-business led to the creation of a consultancy practice. Assignments, both on-line and off-line were secured from SME's through to blue chip organisations across a number of commercial sectors. His work has varied from sales & marketing assignments through strategy planning and new business development projects.

Jim adopts a customer-focused approach in all that he does and upholds the principles of integrity, commitment to quality and value for money that characterises Resourcing Solutions in its business dealings with clients.
